Burkmann Feeds
Burkmann Feeds began operations when longtime friends and University of Kentucky classmates, David Williams and Jerry Germann, came together to found the company, purchasing what had been a Purina facility adjacent to the railroad switching yard in Danville, Kentucky in 1978. The following year a new feed plant was completed capable of receiving product from both rail and truck, and providing a high level of product integrity in both textured and pelleted feed products.
